A rainforest are not the easiest plase to survive for the animals. However, a lot of animals had to evolve, and now we can inspect numerous inique adaptions. All of five animals listed below inhabit in the rainforests around Tambopata lodges in Peru.
1. Candiru Fish
The spine-chilling legend of Candiru Fish has spread across the whole world. Smell of urine – that’s what attracts this small fish to attact human’s genitalia. In 1997 it was documented that a Candiru Fish had jumped out of the water and swum up person’s urethra. However, this case was exploded as a myth as well as the Candiru isn’t attracted with urine.
2. Potoo Bird
During the monlight nights you may hear “po-TOO, po-TOO” cry. These comes from a Potoo Bird in the jungle. There are diferent pieces in the Amazon Rainforest, but the unifier is one – their feathers perfectly match trees bark. These birds sleep at day, they have large eyes that is perfect for night hunt, as well as wide mouths!. All of these above makes a Potoo bird a really weird creature.
3. Tarantulacirtainly ghoulish
No questions asked, tarantulas look ghoulish wit their hairy legs and big size. Tarantulas have evolved some interesting habits, for example as spinning flat silk web on the ground and then rubbing against it for semen release. He can absorb this liquid with legs. When he finds a female he can insert this liquids. And the he runs away for safety reasons. Such a spider romance!
